I just spent a beautiful sunny weekend on Val and Paul (my in-laws) small- holding in Ringmer, East Sussex. Such a wonderful colourful place. Couldn’t resist snooping around and practicing my snapping skills.
The Olympic Torch Comes to Ealing

The beautiful people of Ealing waited…

and waited…and then something started to happen..
and then can you believe it my battery went flat. I didn’t get a picture of the local guy holding THE torch. Doh! Still, we had a fun evening. The sun was shining (at last) and we stopped off for a lovely cold beer at The Haven Arms, which I have to say truly is a haven. The beer garden is like something out of The Hobbit. Loved it! All in all a grand evening out with the fam.

The Lonely Strawberry
Summers been a wash out in England this year. Only 3 apples on the usually bountiful tree and 1 little Strawberry. At least the lettuces are doing alright. Come on sunshine!
